lol, never thought I'd bring this up again but the similarities are too close for me not too. Did Nicole Sheridan (from the cheesy softcore porn movies) model for this book? Looks a bit like her but I also see similarities between the actress that plays Cheyanne on Reba

I like the hazy Vaseline on the camera lens the left side has too. Gives it that nice softcore porn quality.--lol! I'm thinking of the ending to the Little House on the Prairie episode called "Laura Ingalls Wilder" when Laura and Almanzo get married. Looked like vaseline was smeared on the lens during the last few minutes of it.

Like how the kids at school probably think she's weird because sometimes she wears non-matching earrings. Dawn? The kids at SMS grew up with Claudia Kishi.--Not like Claudia hasn't done the exact same thing! I love how Dawn has to think about stuff like this. Do you think Claudia ever thinks "Gee, I bet everybody at school thinks I'm a huge weirdo." I bet stuff like that doesn't enter Claudia's head at all.

Dawn says they make a cute couple which surprises the Hell outta me that Ann would allow that word in the same sentence as Mal. A sentence that isn't 'And Mal isn't in any way, shape or form, cute.'---Agreed

You know she's a crybaby who gets traumatized over the littlest thing yet you still saw it fit to scare the shit out of her because you made a mistake.--True. God forbid Dawn admit she's wrong. I would think it would've been better showing a character realize she's wrong and ADMIT it. No, instead we have the shit they wrote in that book.

Dawn gets in a nice bitchy remark when she says Stacey knows how to apply make-up, unlike the hos at school who look like 'they should be on a stage under bright lights!'--*rolls eyes* It's only good to do that when you're impressing a guy, right? I've said on other posts that I'm not big on makeup. I won't look down my nose at the people that genuinely get into stuff like that. Maybe you think it's too much but maybe they like the way they look, Dawn. Maybe they do it for themselves instead of for a GUY.

Dawn says they'll make it fun rather than come up with something they all enjoy in the first place.--Why do all the kids have to do an activity together? Why can't David Michael play video games or something that he'll enjoy?

Dawn thinking about how kids at school must think she's weird is just more proof that she cares about what people think of her when she pretends she doesn't. Like you said, the thought would probably never enter Claudia's mind. But dawn is always thinking 'Oh, what they must think! They must think I'm weird! And that means unique! I'm so special!' Ugh. I hate Dawn.

That is spot on that the girls at school are wearing make up for themselves but Dawn only did it because she was trying to impress a guy. It just falls under the blanket of Dawn only doing things to impress people. She never does anything for herself. It's always to make people think of her a certain way. I REALLY hate Dawn.
