Mal and Jessi weren't in the club at that time! In fact, wasn't it the great and glorious K. Ron who had trouble handling the Delaney kids before Stacey had her Great Idea?

*nods* I suspect they included that snippet because if they hadn't, M&J would've had even LESS to say. *facepalm*
Also, yeah, this episode is very vague; it just seemed like an excuse to recap a bunch of 'significant' memories from the club's early days. It wasn't half bad for a TV ep, though. It was at least watchable, which is our gold standard for this show.

As a Japanese-American, I can safely say that Dawn is wearing a Chinese dress. And no one is wearing their kimono properly except for Mimi, and, ironically, Kristy. And Mimi's accent is totally fake. Pretty sure the steam bringing good luck thing is also not true.
