#88 Farewell, Dawn

Alright- I am done school and have time to snark… I have decided to do “Farewell, Dawn”, which should more accurately be titled “false advertising” as Dawn comes back 10 books later in “Dawn and too many Sitters”. It’s pretty simple, for the tenth time, Dawn decides she misses California and wants to move back, this time not for “six months” but ( Read more... )

It actually really angers me that Sharon did this- not because she felt it was better for her kids, but because she wanted to be in her home state, whereby her needs are met not her kids.
THIS. I didn't think of it that way when I was a kid, but what a shitty, shitty thing to do.

Dawn is sleeping and dreaming of being on a beach
"All I need now is a nice Californian bitch. You know, like lying around on a white, sandy bitch."

at the very best she has a shower, that doesn’t take 45 minutes.
I'd laugh my ass off if Miss "I Care More About the Environment Than Thou" did take 45-minute showers.

The Hills are going to a health club, so of course, they leave their kids with the baby-sitter instead of actually taking their kids to the gym.
I'll give them not taking the kids there; the gyms I've been to have had mid-teen age restrictions except for a couple of specific kids' programs that tended to be during working hours. I don't even think they need to give up their hot yoga classes completely, but I love that we hear more about Norman's parents exercising by themselves than with their kid who was specifically struggling with weight issues.

Claudia is doing a portrait of Stacey, which actually does look like Stacey.
CONTINUITY?!
