Super Special #12
Hi everyone. This is my first snark - about one of the first BSC books I ever read. I find that a lot of people don't much like this book, hopefully I can reinforce those feelings for you or something. It really is pretty bad. I mean, I'm up to chapter 9 and we still haven't found out Dawn's father's name (I don't know why this grates with me, it just does.) Anyway, this is one of those "see thirteen year olds carry out tasks that are normally the responsibility of people much older and more qualified!" books. Once I figure out how to get the whole thing into a link I'll post the first half of the snark, but for now: the cover. Thanks to the mecca that is Dibbly Fresh.

You know, sometimes I think that Soilileau didn't know what to do with Dawn. At any rate, her eyes seem too close together here. Mary Anne looks really pretty actually. Her and Dawn are wearing matching dresses! So we already know how the story turns out! Or do we? Meanwhile, Claudia looks nice but is wearing something that my Mum would wear (albeit not in yellow...but surely Claud could have delivered the goods? It's a damn wedding, for goodness sake!) It took me a while to figure out that Kristy was throwing confetti and not doing some kind of salute, but otherwise she looks human enough. Jeff looks really small, but I guess we should come to expect that by now.
Chapters 1-9 await you! As soon as I figure out how to contain them within a link! Any help from more seasoned snarkers? :)
