Stacey's mom drives them to Doctor Dellenkamp's office, and then leaves to do the grocery shopping.--I don't want to make it sound like I'm stepping on toes here. I know a lot of people were jumping on a snarker doing the Susan book because Susan's mom wanted a few hours a few days to take a break. Stacey's mom's job searching--I'm not snarking that. It just seems like Maureen has plenty of free time to do her grocery shopping, ya know? She really couldn't sit there at the doctor's office with Charlotte, get a diagnosis for Charlotte's problem and do the shopping later? Overall I'm treating Charlotte like she's in Maureen's care. I know Stacey's hanging out with and playing games, etc. And I'll admit I might be the one looking at it wrong. Charlotte's mom called the cult, she didn't personally contact Maureen first. Idk, something about this just rubs me the wrong way.

No it's not. It's called "comforting her."--Exactly. I view this to be on the same level as Mimi giving Claudia a Nancy Drew book when she broke her leg. Same goes for Janine buying Claudia magazines that she knows Claudia will enjoy reading. It sucks being sick. It's nice to have something to comfort you while you're getting better.

She's tired of playing board games and War.--Why don't you try the devil box again? Or reading to her?

Maybe she should have thought of this before she agreed to babysit for Charlotte all week long.--I think Stacey's making a mountain out of a molehill. Let her stay on the bed or the couch and read to her, let her watch tv!

They can't call Jessi, because she's black and out of town.--lmfao!

They had all these little pink plastic hearts dangling down from one bigger heart.--The earrings sound cool.
