Claudia points out Stacey's nail polish is chipped and she can see the previous color through where the chips have fallen away. ...What? Who paints OVER nailpolish? What happened to removing the previous color with nail polish remover? Which I assume is something super-sophisticated Stacey would do. Just sayin'.

Yeah, the mystery books WERE kind of boring, weren't they?

I don't know how they could be this boring... it's like... they're mysteries. I love mysteries. This was just sad.

But yeah, Stacey is unsophisticated for plot purposes just like Kristy gives up all babysitting talk for the plot.

I snarked on the Christmas super mystery and it was SO bad and SO boring. I don't know how I got through it. *shudders*

The only explanation. I'd say the only smart person in this book was Mrs. Kishi... because she doesn't have to do much other than look stuff up. Everyone else is running around on crack.

Clearly she decided to come as a piece of art instead of providing art (because she abandoned the project she was doing for this crappy mystery). We are just commoners who do not understand.
