As I'm sure most of you have noticed...
This LJ post has an error. While it was being written TO be posted. Because that's how crap LJ's been the past few days!
Okay, not really, I'm just being silly. But in seriousness, LJ's been a little iffy, and the last time this happened it ended up being offline for quite a long time, IIRC. Of course, that's long in real life terms, not internet terms (on the internet five years seems to equal five hours), but nonetheless it caused a fair amount of havoc.
However, it does mean that I wouldn't mind having a secondary option. That way, if you have something you wanted posted but can't for a week or two or more, or if God forbid LJ were ever to go down for good, there's another place to post. Or if you ever moved your blog you'd still be able to easily access the comm.
If jadore_histoire and I do this, we'd like to know where most of you guys go besides LJ (or would go besides LJ). That doesn't necessarily mean we'll decide on that given place for sure, there are other factors, but it will certainly play a part in our decision.
