She wrote it, which is stupid. What if she has crap handwriting, like I did in second grade? I have a feeling she may also be the one who writes in all caps (I know one kid does.) Which strikes me as a bit odd for a so-called accelerate student. You'd think she'd know about lower-case letters by second grade. Unless the first grade teacher just shunted her in there to get rid of her. I would.
and he tells jokes that Karen doesn't like but Nancy thinks are hysterical. Hmm, foreshadowing...
Nancy finds geeks sexy? That's kind of awesome. Also:
I kind of love that for once the rest of the class aren't going along with Karbot. I would love to see her face right now. It must be priceless.
My cat wants to help. Say hi to Jellybean, everyone! Awww, hi Jellybean! What kind of cat is s/he?
Mr. Howard makes a speech and introduces the mysterious woman as his wife. Oops, Nancy. Nancy turns pale Do seven-year-olds really think they're going to be able to marry someone who is an adult now?! I think I'm going to have to call Nancy Wholahay from now on. (For those who didn't watch Cycle 8 of ANTM, they had to choose top model nicknames for themselves and one of them chose Wholahay. Apparently she and her mum were watching this doco on the Discovery Channel about a 14-year-old girl called Wholahay who was being married off to a 40-year-old man. This contestant liked to date older men so her mum started calling her Wholahay.)
Awwwwww! Our tortie's little and shorthaired too. I'm picturing another Strudel now. Do you have any other cats or just those two?
Also, I was looking on the wiki page for the description of that next book you're going to do and found one saying Karen is excited and Nancy does something special to Karen. O_o

Is it sad that I got the reference without having to think about it? "Wholahay" is all kinds of hilarious. And at least she put some effort into the "rename yourself" challenge, unlike the girls who just said "oh my real name is unique enough, i don't need to do this!" AND TYRA JUST WENT WITH IT, WTF.
haha I got it too. It's just so memorable. Do you ever read Rich's recaps at fourfour? He said she acknowledged that the challenge was ridiculous, and raised it a "what the hell". she is my forever hero.

No, she's not big at all. Not like my other tortie, Minnie.
They're both shorthaired.
