veterans day.
even though today is veterans day, we have school.
i just got back from lunch and i'm really sad.
in our dining hall, they had people laying on the ground, with blankets covering them to make it look like they were dead. they were reading a list of the fallen soldiers from vermont who have died in the war in iraq. it was dark and a lot of candles were lit. it was just...horrible.
i'm wearing a nametag today of a 21 year old soldier who died- practically all the students are.
its so horrible and depressing and sad.
i never really thought about war and how many people actually died until today.
and its tough to think about.
