I haven't a clue...that's the theme of this I guess.
How does this make sense?
DSL works and the phone doesn't. DSL comes over the phone line, so should the phone service.
My only guess is that somewhere way down the road the phone wires are down and that the DSL gets here on different wires that the connection is fine closer. I dunno, but I'll keep checking the phone every so often.
In other mysteries or not so mysteries, I use my one yahoo when signing up for stuff that might get me spam. I've also had it since like 97-98 or something so I'm on plenty of spam lists. So what do you do when you get sick of emptying the bulk folder? Let it build up. I hadn't emptied it for a month, since I left for Jersey last, since the last entry, so when I was checking it last night:
How fitting...it's at 1727 now...it says it deletes them after 30 days, we'll see.
I never posted what I wrote about going to NJ and DE. It was fun...good times!
So much has gone wrong this month, or just been bad.
I managed to get 3 Ds, and one very high B, on tests lately. So much for being an A- student in HS(oh wait, I did well in HS cuz I did all my homework, I still didn't do well on tests).
My tire went flat, and couldn't be fixed, and I had to deal with the annnnoying guy. While new tires are nice, it's also a pain, and I haven't fixed it yet...11 days since I've had the spare on. It has kept me from speeding tooo much(can't/shouldn't go over 65 on that).
I'm out of gas almost...gas went up 26¢ to $2.09 one day last week, it's down to $1.94.
October 18th - the day my tire went flat, making me late to my chem test, late became the theme of the day, ooh so many things went wrong I don't remember them all. It would have also been my parents anniversary so that sorta just added to the badness of the day. Wow, badness is a word.
No job so far, but hey, at least I got an interview. I guess the only job I could get hired for even though I don't even meet all the requirements is a bus driver, cuz they reallllly need students.
I have a high D in Biology....68. I got an 18 out of 20 on the assignment where he tried to set us up for failure, he said he'd grade generously...lol

My DSL does work
No clue why it was giving me problems last week, my mom put the furniture back the way it was before and it's worked fine. That's probably not the reason, but kinda funny since I told her the furniture was fine the way it was.
I'm going here next month:
Oddly enough, the exit on 80 thats almost exactly 1/2 way for Dave and me is Jersey Shore. Why Jersey Shore is in the middle of PA I haven't a clue.
I'm afraid if we tried tomorrow something bad would happen with my luck this month. I have lab reports to write too...oh yeah, and my tire to fix...which as long as they have them, will happen tomorrow.
You know, we've seen each other about once a month since June. This has been the longest we've gone without seeing each other since then. Breathe just came on. Normally it'd be more true, stupid phone. A year ago, I wouldn't have cared if the phone was out, I'd go days and weeks without using it.

My lab TA for Cell Bio likes our cell bio project it seems, it seems she really thinks its good or something. Now as long as she makes the final make sense too I'll be happy. Project, pH effect on fern sperm cells. It's gonna suck, a ton, a lot, really, to get the stupid gametophite out of the gel, we need like 45 of em. That'll be what takes the majority of the time doing the experiment...then a 10 page paper, but we'll have pretty graphs and stuff possible. I like biology, it's interesting, too bad the same can't be said for chem.
Chemistry lab isn't so bad...class is, I hate it, it's extremely boring and I could basically care less about the stupid stuff. If my advisor says no to Intro to BioChem that'll suck, cuz that'll mean more incredibly boring organic chem and more lab. I gotta go pick up my last 2 tests and see why I did so poorly on the last one. Although that was the worst day ever, I thought I did a little bit better on that test than I apparently did. I hate that class. Four days a week only makes it worse.

Someone's in trouble, and guess what, I haven't a clue why, nor am I about to go outside to find out. 4 police cars just went by, one drove around in the lake parking lot for a few minutes with their search light on, then I think they went to the other side of the lake. 4 police cars, don't think that's a good sign.

Riccio moved our test from Monday to Nov 4th...which is a Thursday, and the class is MWF...doesn't matter, I won't study anyways, but this time I'll be feeling well, get there on time, and have a pencil. Funny story, I got realllly sick coming back from Jersey. I couldn't go to class the next morning but I had to go take my test and go to chem lab so I went, I was late to class, I'm sure I looked 1/2 dead, once I got my test I couldn't find a pencil, great, scantron and no pencil, oh, and I never studied for it. So I raced trough it so I didn't run out of time, then went and asked if I could borrow a pencil. He's probably thinking I'll so fail this test. So I go back and bubble in everything, and have plenty of time when I finish, go hand in my test, and thank him for the use of the pencil. Grades got posted next class I think, I go and check mine, 2points/1question away from an A. I was happy. He's the one that claimed his tests were soooo hard and you had to study sooo much and some people shouldn't bother reading questions they should just guess at letters. Whatever.
I've also decided I'm not studying for my next biology test. See, the more I study, the worst I do. I still dunno my strategy for the next chem test...he said it's the hardest of them all. But as boring as this stuff that we're doing now is, I get it pretty well.
Why did Saving Ray have to disappear?? I have no clue...Creative Hiatus, yeah right:(
Time changed, and now I'm tired, so I'll post this, and I know 1/2 of it makes no sense but oh well. Gooooodnight!!
