Last weekend

Wow, we've been busy lately!

Last Friday night (sept. 22) we went to a Balloon Festival near work. I went and got Bryanna early and she came to work with me for a little while. That was fun *eyeroll*. After 45 mins she said to me, "Ok, I am done working, lets go!" Don't I wish it worked that way!

It had been raining all day. I probably should have followed my instincts and said "forget it". But I was assured by my boss that the rain was done for the night. Haha

So we went. It was $10 to get in. BUT, $5 to do the kids stuff, and another $20 to ride the ballon up a few feet. HOLY CRAP! So, we didn't go on the Balloon ride. I told her I'd try to find out who owned the one that goes over our house every morning and see if we could ride on it.

We waited in line for over an hour to get her face painted. The clown stopped handing out balloons when she got to us. GGRRR. I had Bryanna go ask her to have one. That kind of pissed me off. I noticed others going to ask right after I sent her. That was not fair to the rest of us that waited that long.

Bryanna had the clown paint a bat on her face. LOL She can be such a little tom-boy at times.

We walked around some and tried to look at the crafts but it started to rain so we left. I forgot to mention that she did get to play on some of the blow up thingies... but not much. It was crammed with kids.

So... it wasn't all that much fun. For the money I spent, we could have went shopping for a toy or something. And there was only 2 ballons there. On the website it showed a lot of them. Oh, there was music too, but she kinda sucked IMO. Bry wanted to listen some, and clapped along with everyone else. It was very cute :)

After leaving there, we went to Walmart to get Paytons b-day gift. We spent an hour of her telling me all about what she wanted for x-mas. Barbie, barbie vet, dr kit. lol

On Saturday, we went to Payton's party at Pump-it-up. It was fun. They have all the big blow up rides, like a slide, an obstacle course, and bounce house. It was fun. Cupcakes and juice drinks afterwards.

After the b-day party we went to Burger King with Maddie and her mom. It was fun. Bryanna and Maddie played in the indoor playground. Since we were the only ones there, they had a blast.

Then we went to Grandma Berties for the rest of the day. She had a blast there too. She was so sweet and loved on her also. She made herself right at home too, which was cute. You can tell Bryanna is at home at your house if she starts digging through your fridge. She's already asking to go back.

Sunday, we cleaned and then went to Papaw and Nana's for fish. We stopped in to say hi to Grandma Lyda (Berties sister).

Bryanna really does love those two and talks about them a lot. I think that is really good for her. She needs more people in her life.

On sunday we started a new pair of pants for Bryanna. I hope I finally get them "right". Like I said, I can't sew!! LOL
