I never get to use my Yuletide icons enough
So, I will be making inane posts about my yuletide story, just so I can get them in before they're obsolete. The good news is, this year I am using "generic" ones with no year on them.
Who knows, besides my betas, what story I wrote? I'm rather proud of it...much more so than my Diana Gabaldon story from last year, which was my virgin year. I don't think I'm going to do books anymore. It's too hard to make myself refresh on the source material.
This year certainly surprised me by being WAY more than the minimum requirement of words and it all sort of just flowed organically. I really can't say that about too many of my stories, even some of my better SPN fic. After the initial 500-1000 words, it's always a struggle, like I have great concept ideas and really poor follow through.
My recipient seemed to like it, but you know, they have to say that. :) Needless to say, I can't wait till tomorrow when I can rip away the mask of anonymity. *G*
