Good morning, LJ! Just a quick reminder that I am attempting to raise some money for some very awesome, creative, and talented folk at my former high school. If you've got a few bucks--and if you're interested in goodies from
carrielh,
fahye,
sdwolfpup, or me as a thank you--go
here for more info. My eternal thanks to those who have contributed already!
Hmm. I feel like I should have other things to say. My procrastination on my
truthsome_fic fic has reached ludicrous proportions. I watched "Fever Pitch" this weekend, and meh (but now I want to buy Dropkick Murphys CDs). Am looking forward to the Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars finales this week. Yahoo's new homepage is scaring me. My husband gave me a great idea for a novel that I might actually attempt to write at some point. I spent much of my working out/getting ready time this morning composing a vitriolic mental letter to Dirk Benedict. I would totally call in sick all week this week if I thought I could get away with it. Bleeeeeeh, Monday.
In conclusion, I will leave you with these inspirational words from Rick Rizzs, one of the announcers for the Mariners: "Welcome back, Mariners fans. My partner here, Dave Valle, is eating like a Viking. He's eating a hot dog and a pretzel the size of a throw rug." For some reason, every time I think of this, I giggle like a maniac. Oh, Rizzs. That is hands-down the most awesome thing you've ever said.
