I totally want to see it again! I will definitely buy it when it comes out, too.

Actually she and Kirk in the turbolift was awesome. And the bit in the captured ship where she's dressing down Spock, and brings Kirk in on it was priceless!

YES. So much wonderful stuff!

I adore the single minded excited scientist schtick.

HEE, yes. That was so adorable! I just liked her a lot, and the one interview I've seen with the actress was INCREDIBLY charming, as well.

I am totally Kirk/Bones. Maybe partly because I am being entertained by the Spock/Uhura.

Ooh interesting! Yeah, I usually gravitate toward moresomes when it seems even remotely feasible, but if I had to break it down to just two in a 'ship, I'd go the same way.

I liked BC as Khan, too--I'm not a huge Sherlock fan, so I don't have a lot of prior attachment to him, but I thought he was excellent in this, very compelling and scary and yet also sympathetic. I think most of the objections to his casting have more to do with him being a white guy (and thereby erasing a powerful character of color from the reboot canon) than with anything about his performance.

Oh man, I've already signed up for the deluxe box with the blu-ray (that I don't have a player for) and a PHASER! (that I already have one of ;)

I'm not a big Sherlock fan, either. So agree about coming in without prior ideas.
Ah, I get the lacking people of color thing.
