FIRST of all, thank you guys SO MUCH for saying such lovely things in the love meme--you made me handflappy and incoherent, and I have absolutely marked that comment notification thread in my email for use on rainy-self-esteem days. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
And I've been meaning to post this for a little while, and what better occasion than the lovely fleurdeliser's birthday to post a Grant Morrison interview? So here you go, my dear, for you and tuesdaysgone and jedusaur and any other Morrison fans out there. :) (This is taken from Writers On Comics Scriptwriting, which is a really interesting, if occasionally really frustrating, book. ETA: This book was published around 1999, just for reference.)

Also, bandomreversebb author claims were yesterday, and I am SO IMPRESSED by the sheer volume of delightful things produced by the artists/mixers/performers--I ended up with a list of 15 things I would have been excited to write about--and also by ladyfoxxx and mizubyte for dealing with the claims insanity with total aplomb. I don't know how y'all managed that, but my hat is seriously off to you, and the whole thing just made me feel really good about fandom and the awesome creative force that it is. ♥ AND on the way to work this morning I got an idea for my story that is simultaneously REALLY EXCITING and UTTERLY TERRIFYING, because in some ways it's totally in my wheelhouse, but it's also unlike anything I've ever written before, so. TERRIFYING. EXCITING.
Now I just have to finish this OTHER story I'm working on so that I can dig in. Hee.
