Dear stock image site, please explain to me how the terms "new" and "training" yield silhouettes of women pole dancing. WTF? I said NEW, not NUDE

HAH that EW article is why I got to that Kris performance I sent you.
I actually would not call that DCook performance MY favorite, but then I also didn't watch his season so in the heat of things maybe it would have been!
(PS, Clay Aiken is also listed twice. Oh Clay Aiken. You are sure...you.)
I liked their choice of "Heartless" for Kris! He had a lot of awesome performances, but that one was awesome both for itself and for the risk he was taking and for the sort of FUCK YOU of it all. Hee.
What is your favorite performance of Cook's, do you think? I (obviously) didn't watch his season either, so I may have felt differently if I had, too. But as it stands, TWIK is my favorite (though of course I love almost everything he did, except Baba O'Riley, which I STILL want to go back in time and make more awesome, WTF THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWESOME).
Uh, there's no shame in that! That song is the soundtrack to MANY KITTENS BEING FOUND across Idol nation, I think. Heeee. (Plus the way he does the "or is someone fucking loving you" part impregnates me every time. Ngggh.)
Little Sparrow is also AWESOME, though. And Dolly Parton was so delighted with him! AWWWW.
Though to be honest, the DCook song I listen to the most (from the Amer Idol performances) is "Little Sparrow." He's SO GOOD on that. And his hair is better in the performance, I see. Hee.

That was the performance that forever hooked me as a DCook fan. Up 'til then I really liked Archie & don't remember paying much attention to DC. Then he showed up with that new haircut.....:O and the rest, as they say, is history.

The studio version is infinitely better, JSYN. I love it even more than the Beatles version. Which is terribly sacreligious coming from me, a serious Beatles fan but it's the truth.
