RE costs: I didn't answer this one because my feelings about registration fees vary according to what's included. Is there swag, are there snacks and drinks constantly available, is there evening entertainment, etc.? Or does the fee ONLY go toward paying for the conference room/ballroom rentals? I'll pay a bit more if there's cool stuff, but it ought to be worth it.
Accessibility is always a big deal, as far as ramps and things being centrally located enough that people with mobility issues can reach them. At MJ last year, the walk from the hotel rooms to the panel rooms was right at the limit of what I could do (given my exhaustion from air travel) without needing a wheelchair. Hotels usually have some wheelchairs squirreled away somewhere, but it's helpful to make distances and accessibility services known/available in advance.
Transportation. Whenever a con hotel has free transportation to/from the airport, that's always a plus. I don't expect it, but it sure is nice when it happens. (Srsly, why don't we have teleporters by now?)
