In which there is a BIZARRE FANNISH CONVERGENCE

I can't seem to get back in the swing of posting; remind me that I need to TAKE A DAY OFF after the next BP, okay? Okay.

However, I did want to relate this AWESOME thing that happened to me last night: so, Mr. McK and I had drinks last night with my college friend M, whom I haven't seen since she graduated (1999), and her boyfriend J. She's in town on her way to our theatre reunion in Walla Walla (I am not going, which I may regret, but see above, re: needing a day off, and I also do not feel like giving my emotional balance a good hard shove right now, thanks). Anyway, in the first few minutes after we sat down, I asked J what he did for a living, and he told us he's a Broadway stagehand. And he said he's worked on some great shows and some terrible shows and a lot of shows in between. Which reminded me of Slings and Arrows, so I asked them if they'd heard of it. And they were both like, "Yes! We love it!" Which: YAY. Because everyone I know needs to see that show, but especially my theatre friends. But THEN, M goes, "Also, have you seen the OTHER things Paul Gross has been in? I'm kind of obsessed with him." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. So we talked about Due South a bit, and then Eastwick. We did not get to Passchendaele or Paul's illustrious music career, but still. HILARIOUS.

So that was awesome. And it was really good to see her, and she was one of the few not-Seattle people I would've wanted to hang out with at the reunion, so that also makes me feel better about not going. \o/

And I still have a catwalksalone, and that is sucky for her but yay for me (except inasmuch as it is sucky for her), and she and I had a lovely day at the peninsula this weekend, and tonight will be dinner at greensilver's and BP debrief, and someday I need to write up my con report, and I am ON THE HUNT for new icons OMG SO MANY NEW ICON SPACES *ROLLS AROUND IN THEM*, and I need a nap, and people at work are making their lack of planning into my emergencies omgwtf, and the Mariners have been playing quite well now that you all haven't paid for tickets to see them, and Neal doesn't know what he's going to wear on Idol tonight, and that's all I've got, really. Did I mention the need for a nap?

fans are awesome, slings and arrows, omg my life is thrilling, oh paul
