VERY EXCITING NEWS, Y'ALL. Lo these many months ago, troyswann sent me a Firefly/Serenity vid she was working on, set to the Headstones' "Judy," and I discovered it to be altogether genius and awesome, and I (along with some other people) have been hounding her to post it ever since. And she FINALLY DID. And it is still entirely genius and awesome. Seriously, I have seen a lot of Firefly vids and this is very, very near the top of my list of favorites, maybe even at the top (hi, I suck at picking favorites). It's River-centric, and the movement is stunning, and the rhythm of the song is perfect, and it's poignant and breathless and dark and sweet and just generally totally brilliant. GO WATCH IT:

… I feel like I had something else, but I can't remember what it was. And I was actually going to go two whole entries without talking about American Idol (you guys, I'm so sorry, it's like a sickness!), but four things prevented me from doing that:
1. Allison was on Conan O'Brien last night (filling in for Kris, who had a death in the family, poor boy), and she rocked the HELL out of "Barracuda". EEEEEEE. I REALLY CANNOT EXPRESS HOW HAPPY THIS MAKES ME. She's a little nervous, you can tell, but she KILLS it (and hi, does the band love her or WHAT? AS YOU WOULD) and it's so awesome and she is my hero. I need an mp3 of this, like, YESTERDAY-all the tour mp3s I have are muddy.
2. Last night I dreamed that I married Kris Allen, and IT WAS AMAZING. (P.S. Dear dream!husband!Kris: I am TOTALLY COOL with Adam-shaped threesomes, JSYK.)
3. What's that? You'd like some video of Kris playing the piano and reclining in the grass and generally standing around being devastatingly handsome? Okay! (Unpopular fannish opinion: I actually like No Boundaries. It's a cheesy song, but Kris is the perfect person to make it sound sincere, because sincerity is his superpower. Though I definitely think ATTTID is a huge step up in terms of his tour set.) Also, because I have trouble talking about one without talking about the other (see above, re: picking favorites), here is an an adorable article about how some tabloid is running this story claiming that Adam is a "diva" (spoiler: uh, NO).
4. SIMULTANEOUS FAAAAAAACE:
I'M ONLY HUMAN, PEOPLE.
ION, I have not watched last night's Leverage yet because last night was SYTYCD, and now I may not get to watch it till Friday, since I have to wait for Mr. McK. *WAAAAAAANTS* (Hey danceswithwords, wanna watch Leverage again?)
