OK, so, comment replies later today, SRSLY. (The end of my week was not fun. It involved throwing up. Particularly when I tried to read or write things. Which, considering that that is not only my primary source of entertainment, but also my JOB, and also kind of necessary for things like con preparations, was no good. /o\)
I'm dying to ask, though: does anyone out there have a friend named Mia who works at the QFC in Issaquah? I was wearing my HCL hoodie yesterday and she was bagging my groceries and she was like, "I like your sweatshirt." And I was like (completely shocked, checking her nametag and hoping that maybe she was zabira--hee), "Thanks! Have you heard of Hard Core Logo?" Her (looking a little embarrassed): "Yeah, I have a friend who has a sweatshirt like that." And, of course, I REALLY wanted to ask her who that friend was, but I did not know how to explain that the chances were quite good that I knew said friend, so I didn't ask. But now I am asking you guys! Anyone?
It made me a little sad that I couldn't just ask her right out, though (I mean, I totally could have, it was just an embarrassment factor for both of us in front of "civilians"). Fandom and our secret language. I know that people have to hide much more significant things about themselves all the time, and I probably should just blow it off, but it's still kind of too bad.
