That sounds fab! Though I'm thinking more like August, to try to combine it with can_con2008 (which, hey, you should go to that! It wouldn't conflict with VVC, would it?).

Not that I know if I will have the money or vacation time for any of this, but it is EXTREMELY appealing, anyway! :)

OK, so there's an official dS con going on in Toronto in August (15 - 17, I believe). And nos4a2no9 is running a low-key concurrent slash-friendly con for those of us who are into that (with the idea being that people could attend both). And I have no idea if I can make it or not, and also it depends on whether the HDRC ever tours BEFORE I DIE and whether they come out west, but. It's in the back of my mind! There are very tempting fangirls attending, and working in a trip to Stratford would be lovely.

However, I see that that's the same weekend as VVC, so... perhaps not best for you! Hee. Though MAYBE if the stars align, you could extend your weekend a bit and meet up with me across the border (that sounds so seedy, except that it's Canada so it would be totally above-board)? *bats eyelashes endearingly at you*
