It's a skunk, actually--my husband's childhood companion, who he would probably be horrified to learn I had used in the service of fandom, but... look how happy Skunky is! He clearly approves.

Now that you mention it, I can see a vague white spot on the top of its head and the tip of its tail but still...
My childhood companion was a bright blue bunny that you couldn't put your hand up. Your husband's is much more entertaining.
