Why I hate being 20...
1. Well I'll be 30 in ten years. I'm not ready to be 30. I'm not even ready to be 20. I haven't done nearly all the stuff I wanted to do by this age.
2. I'm too old to be a mad in love teenager who stalks the Jonas Brothers.
3. I have to hide my love for shows like Hannah Montana and The Suite Life or risk ridicule...
4. When I shop in the YA section of chapters I feel like people are looking at me like "what is that grown girl doing looking at books written for children". I feel like I have to scream out "I'm a YA writer...I need to research!" Although I must admit, it's not all research. Is it so bad I like to read YA books?
5. I'm going to graduate in in a year...I'll be a grown up. I'll need to do things like find my own health and dental insurance....and I'll have to get my own job...like a career....
6. Why doesn't anyone like the Backstreet Boys anymore? When I was 14 everyone loved them!
7. I'm too old to put pin ups of actors and what not on my wall. What if I want to stare at Jim Sturgess all day long???
8. I can't go see movies like the upcoming Wild Child withouth feeling totally stupid...unless I have a young child with me. Is anyone renting out preteen girls?
9. I'm old enough to remember the glory days of the WB...Dawson's Creek, Felicity, Buffy, Roswell....kids these days don't know good TV!
