Bryn hadn't shifted to her other form in months. With her ability not being tied to the moon like in mythology or well, in Alex's case, she didn't have to unless she wanted to. It was hard to feel comfortable wandering around in her other form in such a populated area, especially since many wouldn't have any idea that it was her, but Bryn had

He'd decided that sleeping in Sergei's would've been a bad idea.
But now Zeke decided to take a break from the kitchen. He was still getting used to the place. And on his ridiculously short trek back to his room, Zeke spots a particularly large cat. Large enough that it could possibly eat him if it wanted to.
Granted, it was... kind of familiar looking. Ish. But Zeke wasn't much of an animal person, and fro goodness sakes what's with him and giant animals, anyway? He always seems to run into them. But at least it's not Fenrir.
So he takes a step back, stares at the large cougar thing, and gives it his best 'trust-me-i-taste-god-awful' look.

The fact that he seems wary of her, well, she notices that a bit later and carefully sits in place. It wouldn't do to scare someone or get them to attack out of some perceived need for self-defense.
It probably didn't help appearances that she could still smell good things coming out of the nearby kitchen that made her lick her lips.

So, with restored confidence that he isn't going to be turned into a meal, he smiles and crouches, being careful to mind his bad leg. Someone hasn't been doing their morning exercises.
"Oi, and who might you be?" Though he's already assuming this cat person can't talk, or else they would've said something already. He turns a quick glance at the kitchen behind him. "Come for snack?"

Carefully, she padded forward, all casual ease, but stopped a couple feet away before sitting again with a small purr and a nod. A snack wouldn't be such a bad idea, all things considered. The deer she'd caught once had been incredibly fast and far more a challenge than she'd anticipated. Going after another didn't really appeal.

"Welp, you're in luck. I just cleared up a bit, so th'food should still be warm. Unless you'd prefer it cold."

The smells of the kitchen are even stronger inside, and Bryn licks her lips in anticipation. Hopefully whoever this guy was had made something delicious.

"You been here a while?" Because it sure seemed like it. If this cougar thing was in the barracks, she was probably one of the people pulled here. Nothing was far-fetched in his book.
"And I think I've got just th'thing."
Bryn was in luck. In an effort to adjust to the differences in the kitchen, he'd cooked some bigger things. (Ignoring how he'd taken some items from the main kitchen). It was also an offering to any individuals within the barracks who weren't very inclined to cook and didn't want to walk a longer distance for a bite to eat. It's so much nicer on hand. Besides, there wasn't much in there in the first place. Congratulations, Bryn, you win a whole roasted chicken.
"There ya go."

Patiently, she sat and watched Zeke bustle around the kitchen, and when he came to her with a whole roasted chicken, Bryn licked her lips. It smelled amazing.
She bobbed her head in a nod, in thanks, and then carefully began eating the bird, working around the bones since the last thing she wanted to do was choke herself on them. Bryn wasn't particularly clean about it, but she hoped the man saw she was appreciative.

When he's sure the kitchen was back in the condition it was before he went an invaded it, he glances at his feline friend to see if she was done.
"Y'don't have ta worry about cleanin' that up any, either. I'll take care of it."

Later she was certain she would have to find this mysterious cook and thank him properly.
For now, well, with nothing left to do, she gave another head bob and turned to head out of the kitchen.
