happy things.
we've been taking lots of pictures of ellie in her element recently - sitting up in her bumbo, attempting to roll over (she's a pro at side-to-back, but the other directions are going to take some time) and spending more time on her tummy - each photograph further proof that i'm the mommy of the most precious baby in all the land.
in other superadorablebaby-related news, my little lady has been sleeping famously, and by famously i mean incredibly wonderfully amazingly fabulously ridiculously well. ferberizing (a modified cry-it-out method of sleep training) is the best thing we ever did, and i have a child who slept TWELVE. STRAIGHT. HOURS. in her crib last night to show for it. now all we need to work on is naptime. girl won't fall asleep on her own during the day to save her life. but she will.
i'm so looking forward to this weekend. day at the spa on saturday, and ellie's first trip to tilden park on sunday. we're going to take her on the steam trains and the merry-go-round and take all kinds of pictures and i cannot wait. i felt so special on my first mother's day - i want ryan to feel the same way on his first father's day <3
