So back in the beginning of April there was this whole thing about my employees wanting to have a "secret meeting" with my boss, Nick, without me ( Read more... )

My conversation with Mark last Friday went very well. He let me get all of this out and then told me that, yes, Nick had emailed him on that Saturday... But he hadn't read it until Sunday Night! So the part about Mark agreeing 100% with everything Nick said that day was clearly an exaggeration. He had NO Idea about any of this, most of this wasn't even in the email he got.

Nick's conversation with me should have started with "So I finished my One-on-Ones, and here's what they had to say..."
Saying "This is the final straw" without telling me what the 'other straws' were is plain-old unfair.

Tuesday I had a meeting with Nick and Mark together to go over the One-on-One results, which was more of the same and - in my opinion - did NOT meet the criteria of "Just tell me if you've noticed a change/how have things improved since..." because he literally repeated back old stuff from before their meeting.
He also didn't speak to 4 of my employees AT ALL. I got the distinct impression that he was speaking to the unhappy people specifically, and specifically asking them "Tell me why you're unhappy," rather than "What can we do to make you happy?" (Continuing the focus on the bad rather than trying to bring it back to positive.)

I have been bullied... Mentally, emotionally, and more.

I asked to transfer to Southfield. Mark said he wants me to consider Commerce. I told him I couldn't go to Commerce if Krysta is still there (it would be just as awkward for her as it would be for me... Maybe even more so. She tried to pull some dirty under-handed shit over there and give me a bad name.)
Yesterday around 3pm I was told it's official... I will be starting at Commerce on Monday, and Krysta will start at her new store on Monday, and the Salon Manager currently at Commerce will take over Brighton.

It turns out that the Store Manager at Commerce specifically asked for me. "If Chantelle is going to Brighton, I need Christie! She knows the P&P's, she's a strong Groomer, and she can help support our team while we train our new Salon Manager."

Feels good to be wanted, finally.
