Its funny because right now I am asking my parents where they want to retire..and they are all "I don't know its a big decision" and then they put it back on me that it kind of depends on where I will be if I am having the grandkids. I am like..uhh..you have two other children that will probably produce offspring as well! But I guess it is because I have been with ANdrew so long they are expecting me to be first.
As for the people who just up and leave for a year. I am envious of that too. I am also envious of my friends who just take out lines of credits to go on amazing trips and that Andrew and I have yet to go on a...tropical excursion or anything due to not wanting to get into more debt. Hopefully when I am finished school..in two long years we will finally be able to afford to go somewhere nice because I will finally be working continuously and full time.
The trip to Oregon sounds really interesting. We ended up not having time to go to any wineries when we stopped in Niagra Falls this summer. There are a lot of things one misses out on when driving across country..and the same can be said for air travel I suppose!
