Brokeback

I just went and saw Brokeback Mountain for the second time today with Todd and Dave. I saw it the first time at a pre-screening on Queen Anne. This has got to be one of the most moving movies I have ever seen. By the end I am beyond fighting back tears to full on crying. This movie is highly recommended to everyone to go see and I think the ramifications of it are going to be huge politically and socially.

In other news, one of my co-workers is in a band that just released their first CD. I have listened to it a bit and I must say it is quite good. Go to www.spookthehorse.net to check them out. Their CD release party is this Tuesday at Chop Suey.

Last night was the "Happy Birthday Jesus" party at my place. It was a smaller crowd from the usual parties that I throw, which in my opinion is a good thing. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves with plenty of wine and other booze. Mitch and I also spoke of some plans for "Gaybraham Lincoln Birthday Party II" which has me excited to no end.
