Over the past couple of weeks David has been ill. Typically he's been battling through quite a bit of pain and going to work (when he was still working), going about his usual tasks and very rarely giving into the pain. However the symptons weren't improving and he eventually registered with a GP and made an appointment.
He's been suffering from constant stomach cramps, fevers, occasional nasuea, loss of appetite and he's lost a stone in weight over the two weeks.
Obviously they think there is some kind abdominal/bowel problem but the tests that the GP carried out didn't result in any conclusion. So he's been admitted to hospital for further observation and testing.
I've just left him for the evening after finding out from the doctors that further blood work will be happening and he'll be nil by mouth until further notice.
