Another week ....
.... another update.
It was a busy week at work (half term) but relaxing. The boss was away on holiday so I was left to my own devices as such. Recently my relationship with the boss has been a bit strained and it was a nice break from it all. In the past I’ve always had a good relationship with the boss but I’m sad to say I’m not looking forward to him coming back.
On Friday my niece Shelley, with her friend Jenny came through to York. My niece knows me well! When organising the day with her she told me they were coming through to York fairly early to go shopping but wouldn't be showing their faces at the flat until later. "That way you don't have to bother going shopping 'coz I know you hate it and you can also have your lie in" Bless her! :o)
Once they'd got the horrible task of shopping out of the way we got ready and headed out. Lots of drinking, eating and definitely lots of chatting. I haven't enjoyed a night out so much in ages. The two girls were a pleasure to be around and I was very proud one of them was my niece.
Saturday was hangover city at the flat and Sunday was a needed day of rest.
