Personality: Bryant is loyal to a fault when it comes to his family. He places their needs above his own, often sacrificing what he wants both to please his parents and to protect his siblings, to give them the choices he doesn't feel he has in life. Taking over for his (now deceased) father is the last thing Bryant wants, but his sense of duty to the family and his wish to keep his younger siblings from being pushed to such a thing are what drive him to acquiesce.
Bryant might come off as lazy, but, really, he just doesn't much see the point of his studies at Hogwarts. NEWTs will do him little good in his Muggle life after school, so he doesn't see the point of studying and is opting to focus on having fun while he can.
Bryant also feels a strong sense of loyalty to his friends, especially those he feels closest to. He's not exactly the type to jump into action, but he will definitely bend over backwards to help a friend in need. This loyalty can also often lend to taking a friends side without knowing all the facts. If he feels a friend is being wrong, he will support him or her, regardless of if they are actually right or wrong.
Something not a lot of people see is that Bry is actually quite sentimental. Family and loved ones come first with him and though he presents a casual and friendly exterior to most of the world, he's known to get a bit emotional or sentimental around those he cares about.
Strengths: Both magical and personality: Bryant is most gifted at Charms and a bit better than average at Transfiguration. The only reason that he did not get O's in those OWLs is because he didn't work very hard at it, letting his natural skill earn him an E, which he was more than pleased with. He also achieved an O in Muggle Studies, which he took out of sheer laziness - knowing he could ace it without studying at all - and failed everything else. It's not that he didn't understand those other subjects. It's more that he just didn't care.
In terms of personality, he's very charming and has a great sense of humor. He's got a knack for getting into trouble, but an equal knack for talking his way out of it in most cases. Though he hates his father, he's not afraid to throw around the family name if it'll get him what he wants. Unfortunately, the name means NOTHING in the magical world, which has helped to curb his old spoiled, bullying ways since his entry into Hogwarts.
Weaknesses: Both magical and personality: He has no ambition at all, save to have fun and enjoy his youth for as long as he can. He barely pays attention in class and that's when he bothers to go, though he does seem to understand where to draw the line just enough to avoid getting into major trouble. Magically, he's weakest in Potions managing only a bare A on that OWL. He'd probably do much better at all his classes if he'd put forth an effort, but he'd much rather spend his time goofing off.
Fears: Bry's biggest fear is of losing his family in some way - specifically his siblings. He sees himself as their protector and especially since the death of his father, feels it is his duty to protect them. Since the discovery of Jeremy being his brother, this fear has grown to include one that his siblings and mum will like Jeremy better than they do him and as a result, he's very jealous of his sister's immediate taking to the other boy, fearing that it means she somehow loves and depends on him less.
History: Bryant was born the first of four children to Anthony and Marilla Sawyer near Muggle London. His younger sister Izzy is a first year Gryffindor, at Hogwarts and one brother (Sam, 15) is a 5th year Hufflepuff while another (Kenny, 8) attends Muggle school. Bry is a good kid - though he seems to be a bit lazy. Really, he's just resigned to the life his father has mapped out for him and doesn't see the point to working towards anything else. When it's something he actually wants, he's not afraid to work for it. Recently he has learned that he has yet another brother - seventh year Slytherin jeremy_pitt - who he completely despises. Mostly because he despises all Slytherins on principle, but that is entirely beside the point.
Prior to entering Hogwarts, Bry was pretty much a pompous, rich, spoiled snob. He lost that attitude during his first year at Hogwarts, though a bit of the arrogance is still there and comes through from time to time, particularly when he is dealing with people who knew him at his old school, but most of the time he is easygoing and friendly. He has his fair share of friends and acquaintances and gets on quite well with most of his classmates, though he does have an unfair negative bias towards Slytherins.

Personality
Bryant grew up in a rich Muggle family and attended a regular Muggle primary school until he received his Hogwarts letter. He was a bit of a snob in those days, often tormenting the less fortunate of his classmates. Going to Hogwarts has changed that about him when suddenly he was the one regarded as inferior by some. Those who knew him before Hogwarts tend to think he's the same spoiled brat he was before, but most of the people who have only known him at Hogwarts would see him as the friendly troublemaker. He lives for pranking and having fun, knowing what waits for him when he finishes school. He's definitely a charmer and he likes a good time, but the number of girls he's been with is suprisingly small.
Bryant is pretty much nice to everyone. He seems very laid back and easygoing. He doesn't appear to take much of anything seriously, especially his schoolwork, and how he managed as many OWLs as he did is a complete mystery to everyone.

jeremy-pitt - OMGHATE. Bry has always thought Jeremy a bit of a prat. After all, he's a Slytherin and that's reason enough not to like or trust him, right? If that weren't enough, Jeremy slept with Bryant's ex-girlfriend, giving him even more reason to hate the boy. That hatred has only intensified since learning that Jeremy is actually his half brother.
kenziewickham - Bry adores Kenzie to pieces. They've known each other since first year, dated for a bit fourth year, remained friends after that and fooled around a bit in sixth year. Kenzie is a lot of fun to be around and one of Bry's favorite people to get into trouble with.
master_tybalt - Bry and Ty met first year and became instant BFFs. In a manly way, of course. Bry thinks the world of him and would do anything for him.
rupertwindsorj - Bry's other BFF. The boys have known each other since they were small because of their fathers working together and the bond was solidified with them both sharing a dorm room the past 6 1/2 years. Rupert is definitely someone Bry would do anything for.
thecharmingtwin and thejokingtwin - Bry knows the DeLouise twins mainly through reputation and he thinks they're pretty spiff.
tristina_darcy - MASSIVE CRUSH. The girlfriend. They attended the same Muggle primary school before Hogwarts where he teased her mercilessly. The teasing/bantering continued when they met again at Hogwarts and is, for his part, done mostly because he really, really likes her. He finally grew up enough to ask her out just before winter holidays of his 7th year.

1993-1999 - Attends Muggle Primary school in London (if your character grew up in Muggle London, they may have attended the same school.. and he was a spoiled prat back in those days, so that would affect their opinion of him). Tortures Tristina Darcy a bit once she transfers in, meets Savannah White and they develop a bit of a love/hate thing that eventually turns to a close friendship.
