(no subject)
Its so a ducky day... wet.. rainy... and how oh, so sleepy i am.. all i want to do is go home and curl up on the couch and watch/finish the second season of desperate housewives....
this week has been realitivly boring. last night at swing dancing there was a costume party dealie.. it was pretty fun. i went as a ballerina.. it was really cute to see devon, becca, and becca do the thriller dance.. it was really cute! i have pictures too.. so when halloween stuff ends and i am able to put them on facebook.. i will..
so, its homecoming this weekend. and the guards report time is 7am.! - yeah, i am not thrilled about that one. but then i am going home for the weekend! - because apparently my sister is coming home.. it kind of puts a damper on us going down there and seeing her.. but oh, well she is home for the cold, wet, rainy weather.. and then she gets to go back down to FL where its warm. - i cant wait till i get to go. I want to be nice and toasty! - i was thinking about going to the tanning bed here soon! - just because i can.. and its nice and warm!
we havent carved our pumpkins yet.. and that might be on the agenda for tonights activities along with going to the band's videogame party dealie.. i know i am going to suck at it.. but we will see..
last night was a joy; (sarcasm) we marched in the rain and got all wet.. some people thought it to be an idea to play football or red rover in the rain. - ugh! yucky yucky rain.. i dont mind it so much when i am inside but when i have to be out in it i am not a happy person. oh, well.. i am so tired.. i think i might try to make myself some iced coffee.. b/c that is the best way to drink it! - but anyways.. there isnt much here to do at work.. and i seriously have some hw to do but i need to stay b/c i left early yesterday...
oh, so yesterday , i got to go and help out in Ms. Porterfeild's 1st grade classroom over at sheil elementary school.. it was a pretty good time.. the kids were adorable, there was a cute asian one, and an indian one, and the classroom was a mix of different ethnicities, i love it! - i hope my classroom is like that. But i helped out with a paper mache project where they had to cover balloons.. it was messy and fun! - over all i am glad to be working with the older kids because i sort of felt like i was babysitting them.. and it wasnt too fun! - i want to be able to have conversations and be able to still have fun! - so i think 4th-5th grade will be just perfect! - but we will see.. i start going to the elementary schools next quarter.. and i am nervous at where i will be going too..
I am not so sure if i want to be a ballerina for the band party or not now, who knows.. i am just having doubts. - we will see what i end up being.
