I guess I can classify it as ``working'' now

So, in response to the locked gate I mentioned last week, I poked at my bike a little more, trying to make it so that the left crank doesn't wobble (or worse, fall off) as it had been wont to do. Finding some success, I went on a few short runs over the weekend, then decided to do the whole rack & roll thing on public transit this week, cutting my 10-15 minute walk from bus stop to work to an under 5 minute ride. Feeling this was still a bit silly, when the weather cooled down Thursday, I rode it all the way home. No sign of trouble on the crank! I don't know if I'll start riding the other direction, given the whole uphill and sweaty thing, though. Plus the fact that I tend to carry a lot (large laptop, clothes, lunch).

And also, the circuit board layout I'm doing for my Thesis passed the automated Design Rule Check yesterday! Whooppee!

And for one bit of non-working, I was scheduled to go in to give platelets today, but the Red Cross had to cancel because their place lost power this morning. So that gives me about half the day back, unexpectedly...

work, bike
