... It's been a crap few weeks.
Another 4-5 months until I can schedule back surgery. (Unless they can manage to find yet another wrench to throw into the works).
lamia_prime's grandmother passed away yesterday. I liked her, she was a cool lady. She never smoked a day in her life and she died of lung cancer ... That just dosen't seem right to me.
My father continues to be a blockhead. He finally made an appointment with the doc after not telling anyone that he has had tightness in his chest and was easily tired FOR TWO WEEKS. The result being surgery to stint a vein that was mostly blocked near his heart and was as thin as a hair. (Mom was a bit sketchy on the details). But he gets released tomorrow. (Wed. the 16th.) And I will have to remember to go and give him a smack upside the head.
Both my mother and my wife say "That the apple dosen't fall far from the tree". Yet I really don't think that I am as stubborn and self-righteous as the old man.
