Bryan's Finally On The Ship!!
Hello all!! I know it's been awhile since I posted a blog, but I have been "EXTREMELY" busy! Last month I was in Hollywood, Florida rehearsing six days a week and it was intense as hell. Now, I'm finally on the ship and I'm always in rehearsals, training, or meetings. Apparently, I was informed that the first two weeks on the ship are the hardest. Well................., I'm ready for some fun now.
Anyway, Royal Caribbean's rehearsal process is........a lot of hard work. Way harder than Winthrop.....well, that's without saying. The choreography is very fast and exhausting. I remember how much I complained about the fast movement at Winthrop.....Royal Caribbean is Winthrop times 5000!!! Even though it's a lot of work, the people are from all over the world and are really nice.
My cast is AMAZING! We are all special in our own way. If you haven't seen them, then you should check out my pictures. I love them.......at times!!! What else,....A week ago we did our first show and it went very well even though the boat was rocky as hell. Our costume changes are extremely difficult. Each one has so many different accesories to them that it's crazy!!! Not only that, we have like 15 to 20 seconds to make each change...DAMN!!!! At least Winthrop waited for us.....Royal Caribbean will start the music with or without you. But, it's fun though. It's just something new that I have to use to.
For the boat drills I was appointed, out of all people, a leader for 1/4 of the passengers.....SERIOUSLY!!!!! They must don't know who I am. My advice is if the boat's about to sink is to run like a BITCH!!
This experience is something different, but it's fun. I was offered another contract with Royal Caribbean, but I haven't decided if I want to take the job or not......Who knows what's going to happen in the near future. Well, I'm off to rehearsals. I love and miss you all!! Talk to you later!!!
