It's been a while since I've written. Updates:
1. Got a puppy, who we named Abeke. Since she's a Rhodesian Ridgeback we felt an obligation to give her an African name. Abeke is Nigerian for "We asked for her to pet her."
2. My good friend has started dating this really cool girl. They seem to really like each other...
3. Did I mention we went to Hawaii? Oahu and Kauai. Very fun, lots of snorkeling.
4. Work's been busy, just finished a couple of crushing days (including the whole weekend). Layoffs coming, which is always bad...but we shall see.
5. No real traumas. Wife is doing great at about 21 weeks of pregnancy, starting to get big. I was able to feel Jessica (the baby) kick a couple of times already! It was cool, though I seem to have a calming effect on her -- she'll be doing summersaults and kicking wildly, I'll put my hand on the belly and she'll be calm and serene. I hope this continues after she's born!
6. Family is doing well too. Saw mom & sis briefly when we drove to get Abeke, and they look great! Sister lost a lot of weight -- she's like a rail now.
