omg omg omg yay!
I can't believe it....I got on ACE! ACE is the All Campus Events committee, which plans huge events like Homecoming, All-Sing, Vol Challenge, and Carnicus. I have wanted to be on ACE since right after the applications were due last year...I can't believe I got it! There were only a few spots, and probably over 100 people applied. I was soooo nervous when I was opening my letter and I squealed and freaked out and started jumping up and down just a little bit when I read the word "Congratulations!" But then I realized there were other people around who didn't get on it so I contained myself and practically sprinted to Massey to show the girls. As soon as the elevator opened up I was like "OMG OMG look!" and showed the girls that were on the couch my letter. I normally don't like to be so braggy about stuff, but omg I am just on cloud nine! Eeeek!!
Houston kids, Sarah Olson is also on ACE (she was one of my interviewers both times). I am sooo excited to get to work with her- she is amazing. And everyone else I've met so far seems amazing. My first meeting is Tuesday...yay!
