My eclectic post: mixed contents.
So another week has come and gone, and on wards we go to the weekend....Won't be much of a weekend as I work 1000-600 tomorrow, but what ever, I still have the evening, ooo and green alcoholic beverages....
I Had a final exam today. I Hope I did alright.
It was pay day yesterday so now My room is full of the smell of two dozen roses (yellow with red tips, and crimson) Adam knew how distraught I was about my surgury date, so he got me roses, and a peeping chick (you put it on your hand and it peeps at you)
We exchanged our Ostara gifts early. I gave him an Alchamy gothic Dragon poster to go with the rest of the Alchamy gothics we have up in his room, and he gave me a new 'Spell crafting book" its mostly on how to create your own rituals and what have you. kind of a heavy read but Im all for it. Plus I just like how the pages are all torn and jagged at the edges making it look like an old tome :P~
Lately I have found myself wanting to meditate, and relax so I got myself a "Spirit Flute" Cd last night. It's really nice. It's a Native American CD. Where it's all music played from a wooden Spirit flute, and drums, with occasional loons or Coyote/Wolves howling in the back ground. One song on it reminds me of the Song that plays in the back ground of the "Lakota" Herbal medicine commercial.
Ive found myself turning to my Lee Blaske, and my memoires of a Geisha sound track, along with the three Deva Premal Cd's I have apparently Deval premal has a new CD out....Wonder if Music world would order it in for me?? I know little Mysteries would have it, but I dont know if you can do on line ordering.....
When ever I have a spare moment (not very often) I have been busying myself with making jewelry, and wiccan rosary beads and what have you to try and sell at the PEI Pagan gathering this July....I don't know if anyone will buy anything, but I can try. Once I find my Wood buring kit, and Adam finds his carving tools, were going to start on Wooden tarot boxes and rune boxes and such to sell as well.
For the last year or so Adam and I have been toying with the idea of opening a New age/Occult store in PEI. We were even thinking of asking Little Mysteries about wether or not they would ever consider having a chain of stores (letting us run one here in PEI) but that idea kinda hasn't flown yet as we need to get our business skills up, as well as need to clear a loan so we can rent a place and get the products brought in ( Cause we can't make everything) Also have to talk to various New Age and occult suppliers and see what needs to be done... Then there is the whole Bible bashers ahoy Essence that seems to permiate this little island.....so if we did open a New Age/Occult store there would undoubtly be people on our door step trying to make us go away (like when Afternoon's opened)
Then there is the whole issue that there probubally isn't enough people on this Island that would be interested in purchasing Products from us.... Im thinking in time, we may just start an Online service....I want to look into retailers and what have you, and the new business bureau.... I want to have a mixture of store bought, and home made products....this way I can encorporate all the talents of friends and people I know....We would sell their products for them and all that good stuff....
I know that neither of these Ideas will probubally ever fly....but One can dream.....Least the PEI Pagan gathering gives me stuff to do and make, and will keep me entertained and busy when Im layed up in bed for two weeks :P~
