Productive day in many ways

All good, except that I checked our website to see whether the webmaster has found a podcast we lost last week (yes, so I’m on leave. This was supposed to be a 10 second check). I discovered that the whole web page is now lost. Gone! How is this possible? Meep! We’re doing a national press release on Tuesday morning which links to that page. Meep!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm chocolate.

You need to keep your hands cool to make truffles. I've found the best way is to keep half the truffle mix in the fridge. You can also use latex gloves (buy them in Boots) and wear them and coat them in the cocoa mix when rolling.

Mmm, nice icon! Thanks for the gloves tip; my hands were definitely cold (so were my toes, nose and all other extremities!!), but it would be good to reduce the mess factor. It's a very squishy mix.

Oh - I rather fancy the Aztec truffles. My daughter is out in the kitchen making mini Christmas pudding truffles at the moment.

They're pretty good, and look nice in their bags without being too fiddly. I call that a result!
