End of the month check in
Hello folks. I knew not posting the meme would make me go quiet, so I've decided to go for it next month. I can already tell some of the questions are going to be super covid-ironic. But then that's quite interesting in itself.
I'm still okay. Quite good in many ways, I've got new routines (Sunday walks) and cheering activities, and plenty of busy things (which is vital, I would have gone mad stuck on my own otherwise). But I'm worried about the next few weeks. The government seems to have flipped the switch to reopening quite abruptly - when the current timescale was announced it was all dependant on infection rates dropping and... well, they haven't. So what the hell are we doing? Especially things like last night's random twitter announcement that shielding people can go out more - how? Why? When was that decided and on what basis? Who thought 11pm on a Saturday was the right moment to declare it? I am deeply worried my folks will take this as permission to get into far more than is sensible. They've been good so far, but hate being so dependant. I worry. And no, I can't see the boyf still - he's a long way the wrong side of London and neither of us feel like public transport at the moment. Urgh.
