I don't know if I'm actually busy or if I'm just being very ineffiecient. But there's just a lot happening without me moving around... Today was pretty good in a number of ways, but I am tired. Still, let's catch up a bit

I hear you on the comfort watching. Lots of home shows and old movies we haven't seen in forever. We need to balance out the awful news we keep reading, seeing and hearing.
Yes, very much that. I also think it's functioning a bit as company, when we're not seeing people. I was on a webinar yesterday and *so* glad to see some other faces!
I think a podcast on a walk is a great way to get exercise and also keep your mind active. I used to listen on my train journey if I didn’t fancy reading a book. Much more interesting than just staring out of the window.
I do like looking where I'm walking when it's just a short turn outside for Mandated Exercise. But the schlepping to parents and the safer supermarkets here is quite dull and it definitely helps to have something else to think about!
I watched the sewing bee for the first time last year and was really impressed by the contestants' creativity and skill. Like the repair shop and the bake off - great comfort TV.
Yes, exactly. I love the mix of skill and enthusiasm - people who really love making something. Whether I can imagine how to do it (cookery, mostly) or it's sheer magic (the repair shop, pottery throwdown), it's lovely to see.
I have been comfort watching much the same things - and also discovered the repeats of Landscape Artist of the Year and portrait Artist of the Year on Sky Arts - those are total comfort viewing.
Yes. I've been really struggling to focus for unfamiliar drama (and reading, which I've mentioned before). Low key factual and cheerful is what I need. It sounds like many of us do.
