Three Good Things

1. Swan update: today our lake is still mostly frozen but it's juuuust melting enough that water is coming over the top of the ice at the edges. Very, very confused swan paddling ankle-deep on invisible ice, then walking onto 'dry' ice and slipping. Elegant creature, my ass. Heh.

2. Yogayogayoga: started the day with 7am class, because I can nowadays with no meetings, and ended after work with a Yoga with Adriene vid. I'm on day 24 of her Yoga Revolution series, so just the final chakra set to go. I'll try to do them while I'm travelling. I've decided to give myself a semi-break from diet and daily yoga because I know it's impossible to keep it up on the road (I have two 14-hour working days, for a start), but I'll drop in as and when I can. And then, after 20 Feb when my travel subsides, I'm planning to go back on the diet and do Adriene's 31 Days of Yoga series too. It's just helping me to keep active when classes aren't always possible.

3. The kind of scheduled catch-up meeting I had this afternoon where a friend of both of ours approached with a cup of tea and said "Is this a meeting or a chat?" and we said, "Um, both?" It became a tea break properly at that point. Sometimes, you just need a bit of a break.
