AO3 statistics meme

Aug 17, 2013 23:21

An interesting meme from ruuger, who created this as a nice c/p meme form - go and copy and share!

Account created: I forget, sometime in 2010 I think, but I have stuff on there dated 2008 as I imported it all.
Total stories: 376

Total wordcount: 555,358
Average wordcount: 1477
Longest story: Green Card verse season two (which is unfair, because I put season 1 up as separate stories and season 2 up as chapters. But the next one is the Rulesverse bingo series, which is also shorts. My actual longest are Team Slayer or Dispatches from the War, and my longest standalone is Dovetail Shuffle, a CWRPF which nobody reads!)
Shortest story: Dawn's limerick for Bloody Awful Poetry Day is only 67 words. But then there are manymanymany drabbles

Total kudos: 1566
Kudos per story: 4.1
Story with most kudos: The Modern Way, with 76 (put a J2 a/b/o on AO3, this happens. My other big kudos fics are for Yuletide - At Home with Lady Damerel and my QI RPF Actively Beneficial for Dental Health... Again, Yuletide fics tend to get noticed, and people keep on finding them over the years)

Total comments: 282 (comment threads, so not including my answers)
Comments per story: Less than one
Story with most comments: Outside the Box (the Dodeca Drabble Remix) - somewhat undercutting remix's reputation as a low feedback ficathon. Actively Beneficial is the next.

Total author subscriptions: 23
Total story subscriptions: 4
Story with most subscriptions: there isn't one, but then I don't post WIPs, so it's logical. All subscriptions are for J2 shorts, which suggests the subscribers don't know me - unsurprisingly.

Total bookmarks: 196
Story with most bookmarks: The Modern Way, again - and it has 16, while the next one is a whole bunch with 6 bookmarks each. J2 a/b/o, I tells ya. Catnip.

Stories with no comments or kudos: Ahahahaha, yes. One or two. Dozen. I threw my entire back catalogue on there, mostly without summaries, and there are plenty of things that haven't been read much, let alone commented on. I did wonder whether there was anything that had never been read, but no. Still, some in single figures for hits. Gwen/Bethany femslash, Darla/Saffron or a historical OC Slayer femslash, which I actually love and you should read. Let's say f/f minor characters is the anti-J2 a/b/o. More so than gen. A little depressing if not surprising. I'm afraid it makes me want to write more minor characters f/f, and no more a/b/o. Contrary, self.

In conclusion: thank you for the lovely stats AO3. Read moar femslash.
