So much better than the comics!

Also, no one has sex in space. Because that's just unhygienic.

Absolutely.

I will gladly accept your compliment while doubting its weight... 'Better than the comics' covers a whole lot of ground. *g*

You made me smile at Harmony and Wesley, you made me sit up with pride when Buffy got back in the game, and you brought me to tears at the end.

I'll take your Rulesverse over Joss's comics any day of the week. And your standards of hygiene. :D

Okay. I accept this version of Charles' life. The necessary senseless horror that always snatches back part of a huge victory, just when you think it's safe. Not a good death, as Illyria might see it, but still: a moving coda.

There is so much to love in this. The scythe cutting the enemies' lines of communication is particularly sweet. The perfect female weapon! (We rock at networking, don't you know?)

Since Spike left to fight (and a little before that, when he finally gave up), nobody had nagged at her or told her to get off her ass and fight like a woman.

See? There's that lovely girl power, thrown in for a joke, but not really. *smek*

It was fine. Just a stake through the lungs, and not as if he'd been using them much lately.

Heh. See, that's what you get for girl-watching woolgathering in the middle of a fight.

Hearing Oz be forceful was one of the things Willow loved.

But, yeah. Worrisome, too.

It was intoxicating, this blue-green world above humanity. Why do I get the feeling that this is going to end up being a ( ... )

I'm glad; I knew you didn't want me to kill off Gunn, but in my head it's been a done deal for ages, so it was important to make it matter when it came.

The epitaphs for this should be fun, I think. At least three, maybe four, and we'll see some of the repercussions playing out. I love these characters!

Thank you! I hope it's a worthy Nertz entry, in a hugely good cause.
