Okay, now I want clarification on just where, exactly the Slayer Castle is in the Rulesverse. 'Cos if it's Scotland, I just have one thing to say: kilts. I want kilted gingerbread men NOW. Which is beside the point. The point is your awesomeness! Because there are many wonderful things going on in this cookie baking scene. So many things for Buffy to wig about if she chooses. There is the "I'm totally cool with Dawn's lifestyle" wig, the "wacky recipe" wig, the "OMG, I sound like a mom" wig, the "lack of leg" wig, and on and on. She could open a wig shop with all this! Or not. The feeling of barely controlled panic is subtly so very there. Marvelous.

Darn. You're quite right. Kilts would have fitted perfectly, though I doubt many people wear them in the castle. I may have to write an SSO in the full tartan to make up for it.

Poor Buffy. She's okay. No really. No... really? It's just these layers of Issues that she's more conscious of than she was before.
