Mission Accomplished
our road trip to Julian, CA. was a success!
the trip there was very cool as we drove up
winding roads and the scenery was great!
although, it seemed to be "biker -
weekend" when we got there...
we stopped at the "king Leo" fudge
& chocolate factory.
we bought some fudge (various flavors).
also stopped by the local pizza place
and ate 2 med. sized pizza between the
(3) of us... it was very yummy!
we finally got to Julian, CA. and like
i mentioned before...
it was "biker weekend" of some sort?
the tiny town of 300+ (population) was
overun by tourists & bikers.
we walked around for a bit then headed
for "MOM's Bakery & Pies".
we bought (2) full sized pies to take home,
then i sampled some pie while the girls had
lemonade & rootbeer floats.
the drive home was also filled with great
natural scenery as well sightings of cows,
horses and even buffallo...
that's right !!buffalo!!
we got home around 5pm exhausted from our
road-trip only to plan another very soon...
