I finally got an email with some information about the homestay - I'm particularly enthusiastic about one thing:
"PS - Bring your bathing suits because they have a lake cottage they frequent on the weekends."

My former roommate (Vaasa) is coming over for the weekend! Haven't seen her in ... a year or so, at least.
