well, i found a place in naperville. man am i spoiled by baytowne in champaign. for $730 in champaign i think i got quite a lot. the only complaint i have ever had about baytowne is that the windows and doors are very leaky. spent the last two days looking at some real dives for $750 or $800. you have to spend like $900 to get something really nice around here or downtown. i think i did ok for $750 for six month lease. it's less than a mile to Vertical Endeavors .
There's also a great coffee shop in naperville aside from the three starbucks that you can literally see from one another. they roast their own beans and also carry rishi teas.
things are slow with the experiments tonight so the grad student, Wei, and I went out for a couple beers and shot some pool. i got stepped on by a chinese kid that claims he has only played once in his life. bastard. i remember a few nights that steve and i were really good. well, i might have been kind of drunk at the time, but it seemed like we were good.
