i suppose it was bound to happen sooner or later...
well i did it, i finally stressed myself out so much that i ACTUALLY BURST A BLOOD VESSEL!!!!
in my EYE!
my right eye is full of blood. i noticed it was bugging me when we were in the car earlier, i figured it was just from the air conditioner and wrote it off because it always bothers my eyes. we got to ikea and i went to the bathroom, came out to find hazel and mark totally missing. i went straight to the vases where i mark knew i would be because i needed to buy 34 vases for the wedding tables. on my way to the vases in the maze of linens and lamps i totally got turned around and noticed that my eye was really bugging me and kept watering. i looked around for a mirror and found one on a bedroom display, glabbed it only to discover that i had bloody tears in my eyes and my eye looked like it was about to burst. i quickly found my way to the vases, had mark and hazel paged, got my vases and after about 20 minutes of wrapping them up, we got outta there and had plans to rush to the emergency room.
i wasnt sure if they would see me for such a weird emergency, buy why wouldnt they? i dunno, my brain was going a mile a minute and i wasnt thinking very clear. on the way back to the car i decided to call my mom and ask her if she thought the doctor would see me. (she was being totally nice earlier and said "i dont want to fight, i just want to get everything taken care of" --weird.) after i told her what happened and that i didnt to anything weird to myself that would hurt my eye, she offered to call her doctor and pretend that it happened to her so the doctor would tell her what she should do. this was super nice of her, too bad he said that there was NOTHING that could be done and that it will be like this for 7-10 DAYS!!! ugh. good thing this happened now and not later, i wouldnt want to be known the bride with the bloody eye.
