Family Oblication, I've Lost Count
The mister's aunt has taken a grave turn and may not last through the week. She had a fall three months ago and at 90 that can sometimes be dire. We're really hoping she'll rally but it doesn't look good so I see a funeral in our future.
There's family drama stemming from the mister's mom assuring us we could buy house the mister grew up in and keep it in the family. We'd mentally adjusted to the idea of living closer so we wouldn't have to spend all our vacations driving up and down I-35. We had specific assurances that we had the house but she sold it at a fire sale price to an out of state company that flips homes. This just happened on Friday so feelings are going tobe pretty raw on a lot of counts. Ugh.
I am ready for this year to be over.
